Hair masks and conditioners moisturize the hair and strengthen the hair shaft. They are excellent for counteracting split ends and improving the overall appearance of your hair. Leave-in conditioners are applied to clean, lightly towel-dried hair. Part your hair into individual strands during application and apply conditioner from roots to ends.
We've put together some additional tips for you to avoid split ends from the ground up:
Get your hair cut and trimmed regularly, preferably every 6 weeks.
Do not wash your hair every day. Every 2-3 days is sufficient.
Choose natural shampoos that do not contain harsh ingredients.
Use a conditioner or leave-in after shampooing.
Use a coarse-tooth comb to detangle wet hair.
Use heat, hair coloring and chemical straightening sparingly
Take a dietary supplement with biotin to strengthen your hair
