Slept badly or not at all last night? Your teething baby kept you awake? Busy thoughts couldn't get out of your head? Had too much fun with your friends?
Whatever the reason, no one wants to go through the next day looking like a zombie. With the following tips & tricks you can pretend that you are well-rested and fresh in front of your colleagues!
1. WORK OUT
Nothing freshens up a tired face faster than a 20-minute cardio workout. Even a brisk walk with some sun on your face can work wonders. Please don't forget your sunscreen, though! Blood circulation will be boosted and your entire body will be refreshed.
2. PEELING
Get rid of the dullness on your face with a good scrub. Be careful not to rub too hard when exfoliating. Gently massage the scrub into your skin and then wash it off with lukewarm water. Your skin will immediately appear fresher, rosier and better supplied with blood. Important: if you have sensitive skin, you should choose a cream scrub and use it no more than every 10 days. For people with normal to oily skin, we recommend coarser peels with activated charcoal and green tea.
3. COLD WATER
After exfoliating, you can splash your face with cold water. This wakes you up and tightens the pores.
4. MOISTURIZING CREAM
Use a high quality moisturizer to give your skin an extra freshness boost. We recommend aloe vera and hyaluronic acid as ingredients, which penetrate deep into the skin and plump it up from the inside. For women, a good moisturizer under your makeup is important to prevent the foundation from settling into fine lines and wrinkles.
5. EYE MASK
A puffy eye area can be soothed with a 15-minute eye mask. Store masks in the refrigerator and reduce puffiness even more effectively. Eye masks with collagen and hyaluronic acid work best, moisturizing and tightening the skin at the same time.
6. EYE CARE
The skin area around the eyes is thinner and more sensitive. A rich eye cream or refreshing eye gel is just the right choice. The cream is best patted in gently using your ring finger. Please do not rub or stretch the skin unnecessarily.
7. LOTS OF WATER
Water, water, water... Lack of sleep deprives the skin of moisture. And this should be replenished not only from the outside with creams and gels, but also from the inside. Eight glasses a day are ideal. Herbal tea, diluted juices and smoothies are also a good option. Coffee and alcoholic beverages do not count because they have exactly the opposite effect!
8. EYE DROPS
Often a restless or sleepless night is manifested by red veins in the eye. High-quality eye drops from the pharmacy with hyaluronic acid have a calming effect and soothe the irritation. Your eyes will look brighter and more rested.
If you follow these 8 tips, everyone will think that you went to bed with a good book at 7 pm.
